What is Room4Rent.co.nz?

Room4Rent is a community of Bed and Breakfasts and homestay accommodations, that is quickly growing throughout New Zealand. With Room4Rent, hosts can earn extra money be renting out their spare space. Travellers can save money on expensive hotels and avoid some of the discomforts of backpacking by staying with a local.

How Does It Work?
   

It’s simple.

  
 

Step 1:
If you have a spare room, couch, airbed or even a spare house you can list it on Room4Rent. Create a listing by clicking on the blue “list a room” button. Enter your details, price per night you would like, add photos and then publish. Best of all there is no listing fee! We take a small commission when someone successfully books your accommodation.

  
 

Step 2:
A traveller searches for their required accommodation and makes a booking request.

  
    Step 3:
The host checks the guests profile and previous feedback. The host can now accept or decline the booking or send a message back to the guest. If the host accepts the booking the guest can now pay the full amount to Room4Rent. We will hold the money until after the guest arrives with the host.

After the stay is complete the host and guest can leave feedback regarding their experience.
