Room4Rent is launching our beta private testing, and this is your invitation to be a part of it.
We would like to invite you to help us test the website, and give us your vital feedback on what you do and don’t like, and provide suggestions.
Things we would like to you to try are:
•    Register on the site, activate your registration, and create a personal profile.
•    List your accommodation, with all of it's details (images etc.), and create some auctions for nights on the Availability tab (under the Type dropdown).
•    Publish your listing to make it visible to other testers
•    Try finding listings that other testers have set up. To see ALL listings, just clear the text in the search box on the homepage, and hit search with nothing else selected - it will list everything.
•    Try bidding on other tester's available nights - try different bidding amounts, and test the auto-bid feature.
•    Set up some fixed priced nights for your listing, too - but keep in mind that you won't be able to actually book nights that are set up as fixed priced, as the cart functionality is still being finished off.

Please leave all feedback on the website in the blue feedback tab on the bottom right corner of the website.
Once you have created a profile you will be credited with $10 Room4Rent money, which you can use to upgrade your listing. During the testing the only upgrade available will be making your listing featured, costing $2, so you can add up to 5 different featured listings.  You don't need Room4Rent money to place bids, so feel free to bid as much as you want.

Please remember that while the website is in the testing stage, everything that happens on the site is just a test, and will be completely cleared before the site goes live.

Also, please keep in mind that what you will see here is not the complete Room4Rent package. There will be much more available when the site goes live, including a complete feedback system following a stay, the ability to add multiple fixed-price nights to a cart and check them all out at once, and a wanted section, where you can lay out your accommodation requirements, and any home owners with something suitable can contact you. Plus, plenty more!
Some of these features will be rolled through during testing, so whenever there is a new addition to the testing environment we'll send out a newsletter to let you know, and you can have a play with them.

One final point to keep in mind - this is the testing phase for the site, so you may discover things that don't work the way you expected, or seem broken - some if these things we'll be aware of and working on, but other things we may not be aware of - so please let us know. Your feedback is greatly appreciated!
The private testing will run for 7 days, or longer if we see the need. If you have friends or family who would like to help us test the website it's not too late - just ask them to sign up on the website, and we will send them an invitation.
