Hello, and welcome to Room4Rent.co.nz's first blog post.

Our website provides a platform for homeowners to rent out their home, or a room in their home, to tourists for major events such as the Rugby World Cup 2011. Our blog will keep you updated with the progress of our journey developing this website.

It is our hope that other businesses will be able to use this blog to develop their own product online, by learning from our experiences. We will blog about issues that relate to the Rugby World Cup 2011, Tourism in New Zealand, how to develop a business online, and (a personal passion of mine!), social media.
